|hey Assalamualaikum All =)|
I was just wondering if anyone has read Stolen Lives, Twenty Years in a Desert Jail by Malika Oufkir and Michele Fitoussi.
It's a book about Malika Oufkir, who spent virtually her entire life as a prisoner. She was the eldest daughter of General Oufkir, the King of Morocco's closest aide. ...in 1972, her father was arrested and executed after an attempt to assassinate the king. Malika and her five siblings, and her mother were imprisoined for over FIFTEEN years. Only after escaping more than 15 years later was she able to leave Morocco in 1996.
This story has many references to Islam within it...It's sort of depressing...it describes her experience while imprisoned. I rec everyone to at least check it out, check her story out.
alright take care all.
