How come loads of Islamic sights have a women’s section? With articles about women on it?
Why not a men section, with stuff about men on it?
And all the women sections seem to have stuff like, how Islam gives women rights that western societies do.
I find it real apologetic? Does any one else?
I mean its kind of like saying, “we are not so bad, look some of the rights you give women, so do we”. We are not almost as good as them, we are much better, they are people who are in ignorance and we have the truth. They should be producing women’s bits on their pages saying that they give women some of the rights that we give them.
All of our deen is great, as it is all from Allah, so why do so many people try and find bits that are pleasing to western kaffar, so we can show them that we are not a “bunch of savages”. Any way, as some one who lives, works and studies inside the heart and soul of kufr (London), I do not want to be like them in any way, as I regard them as a bunch of semi-human animal imitators. As Allah created them human, but a lot of them chose to behave like animals.A lot of Muslims are now trying to reinterpret parts of Islam to fit in with the animalistic way of life that the west has adopted since they turned their religion in to a weekly hobby. Even though a lot of people living in the west have grown to hate this evil way of life that is imposed upon them by the evil democratic regimes that the ruling elite impose upon them.

Bismillah and salam,
I don't like that idea so much. Isn't it enough history is all men, how to, praises, why's, who's who, everything! It was written by men, who forgot to write about women. Or even ignored. Most of contemporary people who have a women's section is to revive and relearn about and from the forgotten past.

Well, I sort of feel that you have raised some interesting points here. The websites for women are definitly helpful for me, as a westerner, in that they deal with topics that are specific to women, such as hijab, a topic I would have no idea about, other than to be provided a little helpful information. As for your feeling that some people live like animals, hmmm, I saw something about that in a thread on darwinism, but I am one of those that believe that humans are, essentially, of and not above nature, and that people do what is natural for the human animal to do. Personally, I find this an enjoyable aspect of people on the whole, and i like watching people do what they naturally are inclined to do. It makes for interesting variety in life, and gives us people with differences to enjoy lively conversation with. Quite a blessing. How dull would life be if everyone thought alike? What would we learn from that? I think it is easy to get irritated with the dominate population group, if you are a minority group member...but as in the converssation on kufar--what is to be the attiude of muslims to these people--well, it is possible sometimes to see God at work in their lives, and in our own lives through them, so we may still find those among whom are kufar, that we may thank God for in our lives. I hope. But your point is a very valid one. When one is trying to rise above the morass, the maajority rule of behavior can seem like a burden, or a battle of good vs. evil. Lot's of people have felt that way over time. There is a song that goes: "So from the beginning, the fight we were winning; The Lord was on our side, all glory be Thine." Do you like that prayer? It is meant with best wishes for you. Sincerely--Sonny =:)
